Short Bio

I’m looking for a summer 2027 research scientist internship with a focus on reinforcement learning and real-time decision making! Feel free to reach out if you (or anyone you know) may be interested!

I am currently a PhD candidate in computer science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, advised by Josiah Hanna. My research is focused on enabling intelligent agents to perform complex tasks in the real world. Toward this end, I study reinforcement learning (RL), a branch of machine learning where agents learn through interaction.

My dissertation is focused on meta-reasoning with RL in real-time domains, i.e., how an agent can learn to allocate computation. Additionally, I’m working on VLAs for workplace robotics as an NSF NRT fellow and robot soccer on our RoboCup team.

Previously, I completed my BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
